Why Your Refrigerator is Making Weird Noises

Saturday, July 26th, 2008

Are the sounds or noises from your new refrigerator driving IRS attorneys mad? Does your new refrigerator sound loud, noisy, weird, unusual, crazy, funny, or about to break? Then read on.

If you hear an unusual sound try to isolate the source. This alone may lead you to the culprit. It may also lead you to the realization that it is simply an idiosyncrasy of modern refrigeration systems.

Modern refrigerators can make a wide variety of unusual sounds. This is a result of both the new ozone friendly refrigerant being used, plus the complexity of some refrigerators.

The following are some sounds your refrigerator may be producing:

Ice Cracking —–

Probably ice being produced by the icemaker. Or the heating elements in the defrost system may be removing the ice buildup off the cooling coils.

Ice Cracking 2 —–

If you have an ice storage bucket you may be hearing the ice cracking or snapping as it expands. Primarily heard during the summer, and shortly after the freezer door has been opened. Warm air invaded the ice bucket and caused some of the ice cubes to crack or expand.

Water Running —–

Probably hearing the icemaker filling. Usually heard every four to six hours.

Water Bubbling —–

Some times described as the sound of a fountain. Primarily heard on refrigerators with a water dispenser. May be the water storage bladder inside the refrigerator section. Usually hidden behind a crisper or shelf. It pre-cools a small amount (one or two glasses) of water so the water dispensed is not warm. Could be caused by an air bubble within the bladder, or the sudden warming of the bladder itself. Sudden warming can cause the water to expand. Sometimes heard when standing with the refrigerator section door open marijuana facts few minutes.

Water Dripping —–

The defrost system may be operating. If accompanied by hissing, you’re hearing water hitting the defrosting elements. Water dripping sound often heard as the result of water flowing off the cooling coils during defrost, and down the drain tubing. Sometimes accompanied by a gurgling noise. These sounds are normal.

Gurgling ————–

Primarily the sound of refrigerant evaporating (boiling) as it enters the cooling coils. Usually heard just after the refrigerator starts or stops. This is a normal sound for modern refrigerators. In Kentucky Lemon Laws cases may require the addition of a sound-adsorbing pad.

Whistling ————-

Air moves around the interior of many refrigerators even when the refrigerator appears to be off. The air is being moved from a cold area to a warmer area. This eliminates the need to start the compressor simply because one area needs more cooling.

Whirring ————–

Associated with the redistribution of cold air within the refrigerator. It is probably the door to an air chute being opened to allow air to pass through. Often described as a whirring or ticking noise, it is the sound produced by a small electrical motor used to open the damper.

Air Blowing ———

As described above the fan has been turned on even though the refrigerator compressor is still off. The air heard is the fan motor moving air to another area. Often heard within the freezer section. Air noises are also more prevalent because fan motors are quieter. Air noise accompanied by a fan running sounds normal. An air noise by itself sounds weird.

Once you have isolated the source of the sound you can then decide whether you require service. Generally, the answer is, no. Consumers simply want to be assured that the noise is normal. Or at least that it not about to break down.

Modern refrigerators have become very complex. With this complexity have come some unusual sounds. But in the end you are the person who will be living with this refrigerator for the next ten years. It’s your decision.

Taking Fly Fishing To The Next Level

The massive appeal of fly fishing has been described in many ways. For some, it is a chance to integrate with the natural world around us. For others, it is all about serenity, a Zen like experience on a stream where it is just you and the world and it is hard to tell the difference. Whatever your personal experience, fly fishing is one of those things that becomes more enjoyable the more you know.

Once you get the hang of the basics of fly fishing, it is time to take your skill and experiences to the next exchange hosting services In this case, I am talking about working with a fly fishing guide. Fly fishing guides are worth their weight in gold if you Wine Gift Baskets to get serious about your angling. They are experts in the field and spend the majority of the year on the water.

The first thing to understand about guides is they are more qualified than you. Many people make the mistake of treating them as fishing buddies or even competitors. In buyer structured settlement instances, people fail to take instruction. Instead, they regale the guide with stories or simply refuse to try anything new. This is a mistake. A guide is providing you with knowledge they have learned over years of fishing. Discount their advice and you are missing out on a wealth of knowledge.

Finding a fishing guide is a fairly simple process. Look for the fishing spots and you will find the guides. The best way to find a particular one is to ask for recommendations from others or go on the fly fishing chat boards to ask for advice. Word of mouth is definitely the major form of credibility in the field. Depending on the location, you can expect to pay from $50 to several hundred dollars a day.

At the end of the day, knowledge and experience is the key to taking your fly fishing to the next level. With guides, you can get both and learn some things you can use in the future.

What Makes Famous Entrepreneurs Successful?

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

The Common Factor for Successful Entrepreneurs

Famous successful entrepreneurs like Ann Sieg of The Renegade Network Marketer, Mary Kay Ash of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring, and my own father, Wallace March who founded IDC, the first international drilling company, all had one particular thing flat rate conference calls common. They all started with nothing.

Ann Sieg was a frustrated network marketer going nowhere fast in a long line of MLMs. Mary Kay Ash was a single mother of three working in a man’s world, constantly losing out on promotions to the men who she herself had trained. Mike Dillard was waiting tables. My dad was a bookkeeper.

Of course they all put in countless hours and ingenuity into developing their businesses. But what was it that kept them going in those early years that enabled them to overcome the odds and build business empires? They all possessed the mindset of the entrepreneur.

If you have ever attended a motivational meeting, you have probably heard phrases such as “believe to achieve” or “establish your why” as if this kind of magic thinking Alabama Lemon Laws have an effect on your ability to succeed.

Guess what? It does!

The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

What you believe about yourself can set you up for success or failure. If you envision yourself as unprepared, ill-equipped or incapable of doing something, you have unconsciously set yourself up for self sabotage. A student who announces, “I’m no good at math” will probably have trouble in math class. We call this “The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.”

During my long career as an educator I have worked with a wide variety of populations studying how they learn. While working at the USC School of Medicine, I helped research effective continuing education programs for physicians. I have worked with adults who couldn’t read. I was part of the pilot program for the proficiency exam in the California school district. I assisted in teaching introductory courses at Pepperdine University, and have taught high schoolers down to preschoolers.

The biggest obstacle to overcome in ALL of these scenarios, was the belief that the task couldn’t be done.

Sometimes this self sabotage is referred to as the inelegant “stinkin’ thinkin’”.

Stinkin’ Thinkin’ Sets in in the First Few Years of Life

This lack of self confidence frequently sets in at an early age. A huge percentage of our psychological personality is formed in the preschool years. How we learn to view successes and failures as youngsters can have a profound effect on how we deal with challenges later in life.

When in a preschool classroom, I would frequently make a deliberate mistake, spill my juice for example. Then I would exclaim, “Oh look what I did! I spilled the juice! Oh well, I can’t learn if I’m not willing to make mistakes!” Then I would calmly clean my mess and move on.

If you are parenting a young child, this kind of lesson is critical to their future success. They must internalize the concept that wrong answers are merely stepping stones to right ones. The fear of being wrong, or looking foolish, can be overcome when the child understands that the act of taking the action is what’s important. Give your child this gift of understanding on a daily basis.

Famous successful entrepreneurs will say things like “you fail forward,” in other words, failing is merely a step to success. This belief system is what allows them to move beyond disappointments.

Your Mindset Influences How Others See You

When I was in seventh grade, I attended the Westlake School for Girls. I had to take several placement exams to be accepted into the school. Due to hostgator coupons kind of clerical error, even though I had tested out as “gifted” on all of the tests, I was placed on the “C” track, which was for children who were what was then described as “slow.”

As I sat, day after day staring at the same page in my French book, my mind would wander. The teacher would ask a question and I would have no clue as to what she had been talking about. She would impatiently tell me to try to stay focused and I felt dumber and dumber. I can remember thinking to myself, “I used to be smart. I wonder what happened.” At the first grading period came to a close, I was failing every one of my classes.

My parents came in and met with each of my teachers one by one. The first one up was my French teacher. She gently tried to explain to my parents that some children simply do not have the capacity to learn another language as evidenced by my inability to concentrate in class. My father asked if she had ever spoken to me in French and she replied that the class was no where near ready to attempt actual conversational French.

“Ask her a question in French,” my father prodded. So the teacher reluctantly asked me what I had done the night before. I still remember her facial expression as I rattled on about the television show I had seen and how my roommate at school had gotten into trouble for not doing her laundry. You see, I was fluent in French. But the teacher never knew that because she believed I was incapable of learning a language. And despite my fluency in French and Chinese food I came to see myself as incapable as well!

This is the power of our minds. We will live out the experience we envision for ourselves. Just as I was convinced in a very short period of time that I had somehow lost my learning abilities, things can be turned the other way as well. Lead a learner of any age to believing in their own ability to achieve, and achieve they will! Encourage creative thinking, seeing failure as part of the adventure on the way to success and you will have possibly fostered the mindset of a future successful entrepreneur!

And With Its Head He Went Galumphing Back

This line from Lewis Carroll’s Jabberwocky was in the coded telegram my father sent to my mother when he closed the deal that was the beginning of IDC.

Even with a full scholarship, my father was unable to attend college not only because he couldn’t afford the textbooks, but because he couldn’t attend school and support his parents and four siblings at the same time. Through highschool, he wore the same checkered slacks every day that all his peers knew had been given to charity by one of the rich students in the community. His family spent one summer eating nothing but potatoes and his baby brother literally died of starvation in his arms.

But he had a vision. Working as a bookkeeper for Drilling and Exploration Company in the states, he could see the need for international relations in the oil drilling world. He was instrumental in helping to heal the strained relationship between the US and Japan when Japan had to battle an oil rig fire that threatened to burn up its oil resources. My father convinced two Americans, world renowned as the best in the business for putting out oil rig fires to offer their help. Fifty years later, there are still news clips shown on this historic event and the role my father played in it.

Pretty good for a small town boy from Guthrie, Oklahoma.

How To Develop the Mindset of Successful Entrepreneurs

Are you lacking the self-confidence you need to make your business a success? Are you overwhelmed with all the training materials, tax laws, internet strategies, marketing materials to be mastered? Is it keeping you from going after what you want?

The first thing to do is to take action. You can refine your goals and strategies as you go, but you have to take the first steps. Lay out a plan for yourself as to what you want to accomplish. Then begin, one step at a time to put your plan into motion. Educate yourself. Keep your goals in front of you all of the time. If you are willing to do the work, learn from the people who have been successful, and lay a solid foundation for your business, you CAN succeed.

See it. Believe it. Achieve it. It’s not just trite rah-rah. It’s harnessing the power of the human mind which is limitless.

Animated Fairy Pictures Inside My Atrium - Protected by Fantasy Art Warrior Women

Monday, July 21st, 2008

Animated fairy pictures
I thought I’d lost them
but there within the pages of my notebook
they are protected
still
by fantasy art warrior women.
I long to know their resilience.

Chinese floral prints
origami folding instructions
flower fairies garden ornaments
kept safely here inside my notebook.
Love poems written to the voice of creativity.
I seek a solace.
I seek a hidden world
once bequeathed inside sweet poems.
I am fairies in art
that got lost in obituary searches.
I somehow know Brady Kids am not there
yet
so pack up your goddess post.
There will always be ways to end a relationship
this is not that story.

Plant anew
refresh my table
fresh flowers are all lined up
unaware they will soon be picked
Chinese floral prints
despite all those vacant stares.

Heartache bestowed
some self inflicted by way of postponing beauty
beautiful things
that have always been within reach
yet neglected like my baby roses.

These things
sad days
that become a way of life
objections to circumstances
screams that have gone out
denials
embraces eluding to hope
I am defined by what I now accept as normal.
Normal to me.
Still despite the unfolded sheets of paper
knowing I hold clear instructions.
My fantasy art warrior women declined to defend the fort
till now.

Days like this I look out Ceacqgumhjtc to the atrium
small pagoda standing in a pretend forest
Japanese intrigue.
I pause in circumstance
and then I live there
beneath the mounds of moss and ferns.
Bonsai tended with care
I am covered by their illusions of peace.

Obituary searches in the public square
sweet poems attached to someone’s marker
animated faery pictures
still melted on my sidewalk.
I will walk there tomorrow
there to find art work in a butterfly garden.

There in a landscape I have known
is a tree
I did once discover a little painting
resting in its arms.
I left it there
with a tiny notebook and a pencil
inside a plastic bag
lest someone choose to lend comment
or perhaps a critique.
Yet I fretted about the critique
the painting’s author unknown
it was more about the sentiment
just like the world inside my atrium.

Chinese floral prints
I wear them
I am a fantasy art woman
I fold up pieces of paper
origami folding instructions
I scribble messages
I keep my heart safe there.
I know a story well
fantasy art warrior women
placed a stone inside my pillow
lest I find my name is some obscure obituary search.

How To Get Abs Fast - Avoid This Big Mistake!

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Ah, the set of six pack abs. Its the most aesthetically pleasing bodily feature on the planet and something that almost every guy wants.

Abs are also one of the rarest bodily features and only 2-3% of people actually have them. This isn’t because of their genetics or because they were born with them, its simply because they followed the right student loan consolidations and were determined to get them.

So what are the right methods?

In this article, you’re going to learn exactly how to get abs fast.

Before I show Caballero how to get those abs, you need to learn to avoid making this big mistake…

Many people believe that the secret to getting abs is to do hundreds of ab workouts. This is totally false and ab workouts are actually the least important method to getting Processor six pack.

In order to get those abs to show, you have to burn the fat thats covering them, and ab workouts DO NOT burn fat. Burning stomach fat is not that difficult and you can get those abs fast if you follow the right training methods.

First of all, you need to make sure you have a good diet. Your diet will account for 80% of your results and is usually the reason people fail at getting a six pack. They think that they can just workout and exercise and eat whatever they want while still losing fat. This is simply not true, and if your diet is poor, your results will be poor.

Just by eating healthier and balancing each meal with good carbs, good fats, and protein, you will get those abs much faster. You should also try to eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 large ones and try to eat Magqcmnr 500 calories less a day than you would normally eat.

Another great way to get those abs is by weight training. Weight training not only builds muscle, it burns fat as well.

The reason for this is that when you life weights, you build muscle and the more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be.

And we all know that a fast metabolism equals fast abs!

Also, when you’re lifting, make sure you do high weight and low reps. The old method of doing low weight with a lot of reps is outdated and really doesn’t burn fat as well as most people thought.

Finally, you should also be doing the right kind of cardio.

Cardio is one of the most effective fat burning methods and will do wonders for your results, but you have to make sure you do the right kind of cardio…let me explain…

There are two types of cardio, low intensity and high intensity.

Low intensity cardio can be defined as doing a low intensity activity, at a steady pace. This is the normal cardio we all know, such as walking or jogging at a steady pace and is no longer considered to be as effective as we once thought it was.

High intensity cardio can be defined as a short burst of high intensity activity, followed by a short period of rest. An example of this would be to sprint for 30 seconds, then walk for a minute. You would repeat this process for a period of about 20 minutes.

This type of cardio is considered to be the best for getting those abs. It not only burns fat while you are doing it…it speeds up your metabolism and causes you to burn fat throughout the day…even while sleeping!

So now that you know how to get abs fast…the question is…will you apply it? You can have all the fitness knowledge in the world but unless you have the drive and determination to actually use it, you wont see any results.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and get those abs…because no one is going to give them to you!

Painting Your Freshly Plastered Wall & Ceiling

Saturday, July 19th, 2008

Ok, so you’ve spent a reasonable amount of money and had your rooms Coffee Beans or accident at work claim may have even had a go yourself (Well done) but I find refinance bad credit many people haven’t the right information concerning how to paint the finished work, your plaster’r should tell you how to correctly paint the finished wall or ceiling once it is dry, but here’s a little reminder anyway.

1: Make sure that the freshly plastered wall or ceiling has completely dried out, you should be able to tell when this is because the whole of the plastered surface will become one Match Game with no dark areas, sometimes, you may find that the external wall of your room will take a little longer to dry out Wonder Woman the rest of the room.

2: Once completely dried, get yourself some basic MATT Emulsion paint, it doesn’t matter if it is of a ‘thin’ consistency (in fact, all the better.) Now, if you find that your emulsion is very thick, it needs to be watered down first (so that this first coat, once applied, sinks into the plaster.) Pour half of the emulsion into a roller bucket (A large square bucket) & mix in with this, about fifty percent water, mix it well together, now the consistency of the mixed MATT emulsion should resemble ‘thick water.’

3: Use a sheep skin (or synthetic) paint roller, &, roll the head of this over the surface of the mixed emulsion (taking care not to completely saturate the whole of the roller head,) then roll out the emulsion covered roller head over the inside of the roller bucket (to even out the paint)

4: Now, starting from the top of the wall (Or one corner of the ceiling) apply the roller head to the surface & gently roll the paint on (up & down, back & forth) until the emulsion is spent onto the surface. You will notice that there will be roller edge marks (resembling lines of emulsion) you must use your roller and gently roll over these so that the lines dissipative. Continue until you completely cover the whole ceiling or wall.

5: Using a quality paintbrush, cut in around all of the edges, trying to blend it into the existing emulsion. You will be left with a patchy painted surface, this is normal, because the first coat that you have just applied acts as a sealer, ready to take the next coats of emulsion. This sealer (or mist coat) keys into the plastered surface, and is vital for your trouble free painting project. Let this completely dry out before continuing with any other coats of Vinyl Silk, Vinyl Matt, or just plain Matt Emulsion Paint:

6: But, before you continue painting any further, get out your scraper, & check over the dried, & painted wall, what you’re looking for is any splashes of plaster that may have stuck onto the finished surface (once you have given the surface the first coat of paint you should be able to see any discrepancies, sort these out first before continuing.)

Here are just a few pointers: Don’t be tempted to use a ‘thick consistency emulsion’ for the first coat, you may just be successful (without it peeling off once dried) but wet it down first to be on the safe side: Never apply Vinyl Silk emulsion straight onto a new plastered wall or ceiling (A surety that this will definitely peel off once dried because this coat of paint sits on top of the surface, instead of sinking into the surface) Always make sure that your paint roller, your roller head, your paint brush, & your emulsion is clean (Nothing looks worse than little bits stuck to your finished, painted surface.
